Ever since I bought our new home, our kids love the space and the new furniture surroundings. For some of the bedrooms I chose not to have traditional beds.
1. Bunk Beds: These can take your child's small room and make it seem much bigger. A bunk bed is the perfect solution for a growing family. Parents love bunk beds because they are affordable and they save lots of space. Children love them because they are fun when playing, because it encourages imagination.
2. Futons: These are perfect space saving furniture. They can be placed in any bedroom. Children, teens as well as adults like futons. They are convenient because they not only work as two beds, but they also work as a couch to lounge on when not being used as a bed.
3. Loft Bunk Beds: These are a top bunk with no bottom bunk. It gives you space to place a desk, dresser, or other type of storage beneath it. When you need more storage, these types of beds are a definite plus.
4. Daybeds: These can be used as a seat or as a bed. They are absolutely wonderful for saving space.
5. Waterbeds: These contour in special ways to your body's curves. They come in Hard-side, Soft side and Tube Water Beds. You can empty the water from within the bed and it can be disassembled for moving.
6. Captains Beds: These have drawers built into the box spring and into the frame. Even shelves can be used. These beds are built on a set of drawers. The drawers can be used to store toys and books. For adults the drawers can be used for socks, underwear and sweaters.
